Premiums will be paid contingent upon the State of Illinois having their premium fund reimbursement program in effect at the time of our fair.

All Livestock must be on the fairgrounds by Tuesday 8 p.m.

Tuesday, weigh in 10:00 a.m. for ALL barrows and crossbred gilts.

Entry forms must be postmarked no later than June 29, 2016. Walk-in entry forms no later than July 1, 2016, at the Fairground Office. NO entries will be taken past the deadline and entry fees MIST be paid 24 hours prior to the show time. There will be no changes on day of the show. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PREMIUM CHECKS WILL NOT BE ISSUED WITH OUT EXHIBITORS SOCIAL SECRURITY NUMBER- NO EXCEPTIONS. REGISTRATION PAPERS REQUIRED ON ALL PUREBRED LIVESTOCK AND MUST BE IN EXHIBITORS NAME.  REGISTRATION PAPERS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR CHECK 24 HOURS PRIOR TO SHOW. (See General rules).

Specific Department rules:

  • 4-H Show will begin at 8:00 A.M. with the open show following
  • Barrows will be weighed the night prior to show, crossbred gilts will be weighed and divided into 3 classes the night prior to the show.
  • State number of pens with entry.
  • No straw allowed. Sawdust bedding available at no charge.
  • We reserve the right to combine classes if there is only one exhibitor in a class.
  • All hogs must be on grounds by 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 to show-strictly enforced
  • All wire, cans, bottles, and garbage shall be placed in containers. All show boxes, feed and cots must be kept in area of individual stalls and out of show ring.

DEPARTMENT H-4 – JUNIOR SWINE SHOW

Entry Fee- $7.00 – If not in open show, pen rent is $5.00 per head

  • All hogs must be on grounds by 8:00 a.m. one day prior to show-strictly enforced
  • Junior Swine Show open to any Junior.
  • No pen rent if exhibitor has paid pen rent in the open class for each animal.3
