The Fair Promises a Week of Family Entertainment

The colorful lights that dance on the rides, the smells that waft from the food stands, the attractions that bring back memories and make new ones. It’s never too early to start thinking about the Macoupin County Fair! This year, the fair will provide a variety of attractions and entertainment for the whole family from June 26 – 30, 2018. Annual events – including the tractor pull, demolition derby, and the Queen Pageant will be held, as well as other family entertainment. An array of exhibits, livestock shows and auctions, children’s activities, and free entertainment will cater to the tastes of all visitors.

As the oldest county fair in Illinois, the Macoupin County Fair is sure to provide a delightful week of family fun and entertainment.

60th Anniversary of the Macoupin County Queen Pageant

This year the Macoupin County Queen Pageant Committee would like to extend an invitation to the former Miss Macoupin County Fair Queens from the past 60 years, to attend the pageant on Wednesday Night. Former Queens will be recognized the evening of the pageants. We hope that all the former queens can attend the 60th Anniversary Pageant this year.
