Demolition Derby

Saturday, June 7, 2025

The 2025 Demolition Derby Scholarship is being offered by the Calhoun, Jersey, Macoupin, Morgan, Schuyler, and Sangamon County Fair Associations. It is the intent of the associations to award $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors in each of the six counties.

During the 2024 county fair season, derby participants, riders, and fairgoers were asked to donate toward this scholarship that would go to students that are going into a trade or technical school.

Our fairs strive to promote agriculture in our communities and the international association of fairs has taken note of this project as a best practice to showcase the way fairs are able to give back in our communities.

The 2025 scholarship application deadline is April 1, 2025.
